Tappits - The Plastic Way
So another question I get asked a lot is how I get my fondant or gumpaste letters to come out of their molds easily. Well... my secret... Plastic.
In this video I demonstrate how I do my fondant letterings.
1.Simply roll out the fondant into a thin layer.
2. Take your tappit and place a plastic wrap on top.
3. Then place the fondant over the plastic and roll over the letter that you want.
4. Roll the fondant until you see the letter being marked into the tappit.
5. Once the letter is marked simply peel off the remanig fondant and you are left with the letter on top of the plastic wrap.
6. Now simply peel off the plastic from the tappit and the fondant letter is intact.
